Or perhaps it's the first thing.

Anyhow, the thing I want most right now is for what I'm about to say to not sound preachy.

Here goes.

How about if this year we shit-can all of those crazy resolutions we have no intention of (or let's be honest here, a real plan for) keeping.

And instead, we take a long, hard look at the deeper reasons why we

eat

drink

smoke

talk

shop

bitch

gossip

procrastinate

surf the Internet

[insert your favorite here]

too much and actually do something to change our lives this year.

It's difficult and it sucks but it's also amazing and real and enlightening and life-changing.
