A friend of mine who worked for Hughes back when it was developing the SR-71 had a side responsibility of creating wheat from resume chaff.
He got many, many paper resumes in his inbox.
His system.
1. If it's more than one page, round file it.
2. Throw the rest up in the air, those that land face down, round file it.
3. Skim the rest, if there is a typo, syntax error, etc., round file it.
4. Read the rest and respond based on merit.
I suppose these days to apply his method, you have to print them out and discard via shredder.
