What marriage is all about #232

When your husband knows you better than you know yourself.

"What sauce is this?" I ask. "It's really good."

"It's your favorite sauce," says Jim.

"How do you know what my favorite sauce is?"

"Because you've told me a million times," he says.

"What's my favorite sauce again?"

"Sweet Baby Ray's."

Crusty - The Shack is by William P. Young. As a Christian, you will LOVE it. It's just this amazing story about a guy who talks with God after a terrible tragedy happens to his family. It's just outstanding and I'm recommending it to everyone I know. Take care!

Hedy -

Keith could drink Sweet Baby Ray's by the bucket!!

For me it is a little too "Sweet" ...hence it's name.

i prefer a spicy flame

Of course, you made his job easier by telling him a million times. The real trick is knowing your favorite without ever being told exactly what it is.

I don't make it so easy on Mrs P either because in a lot of things I don't have a definitive favorite - just what I'm in the mood for right now.

The thing is, I've never said 'Sweet Baby Rays is my favorite'. I've always just said 'I like this best'. Jim is the keeper of the sauces in our house so it's cool that he pays attention to and knows what I like when even I don't really know.
